1. Is there a portion of their annual report dedicated to CRS?
Universal Robina (URC) is among the biggest agro-industrial and commodity foods
business in the Philippines.
URCs Agro-Industrial Group (AIG) is consolidated under Robina Agri Partners which
combines the strengths and experience established since 1956

There are two events of URC (AIG) this year 2016


RIVER CLEAN UP YES TO GREEN CAMPAIGN and the Theme
MUNICIPAL WIDE RIVER CLEAN UP last June 10, 2016 with the
help of Teresa River Development and Protection Council.
URC AIG supports Brigada Eskuwela last May 4, 2106 with their
respective farms held at CALUMPANG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
2. Are these reports published?
These reports was published through their website under the
NEWS and EVENTS regarding their activity in the whole year 2016 and
attached all photos taken with their partners by cleaning the river and
the school as well for their campaign of clean and green project.
3. Sustainability Reports are there any?
URC (AIG) Sustainability reports includes corporate social
responsibilities that focus is to help improve the quality of life through
building sustainable communities for the less fortunate, and supporting
activities that contribute to education and youth development like
supporting projects about the environment and most especially the
learning center and also it shows that URC (AIG) has consistently grown
due to its constant innovations, strong distribution capabilities , and
effective marketing campaigns.

Conflicts/Issues
P1.25-M fine on URC for pollution
(URC) imposed by the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) and
the Court of Appeals after its corn refinery plant was found to have
polluted Pasig River with its wastewater. The LLDAs Pollution Control Division
conducted a laboratory analysis which determined that URCs corn refinery
plants wastewater failed to comply with government standards.

URC believes that it has a responsibility towards the environment


and has taken concrete steps towards compliance with
environmental laws, promoting recycling and reincorporation,
investing in renewable energy, sustainable sourcing, promoting
animal welfare, and sustainable farming.
URC Notified LLDA of its plan to upgrade its water waste
treatment facility. Thats why all waste water from URCs
production facilities are treated to ensure that the environment is
not harmed the companys operation and also they are working
on enhancing waste management by reducing total waste and
increasing recycling as a percentage of waste to minimize the
impact on landfills and lastly URC has created a specific
department that handles occupational, safety, health, and
environmental concerns.
