Comments on APILs P&ID for TG


Reference Point-6 of MoM dated Sep 01-02, 2003 wherein comments on P&IDs (submitted during the
meeting) were furnished. APIL to note the balance comments on the following P&IDs which has been
received from Indal. APIL to finalise the P&IDs considering the MoM and these comments.
1. Main Steam & Extraction P&ID (1CY J048101)
a. Two Pressure Transmitters should be provided for APRDS instead of one (Grid G2).
b. Flow Nozzle to be provided for APRDS line (Grid D2).
c. All Flow nozzles should have 3 sets of Impulse line tapping points complete with isolation
valves.
d. For Deaerator Extraction FCNRV DP switch is to be provided (Grid J8).
e. Manual bypass valves for Steam Trap (LFC10AA003, LBD10AA003, LPS10AA003,
LBS10AA003) to be replaced with motorised valves (Grid L-11-12-13).
f.

Initial Heating line for deaerator to be included.

2. Heater Drain & Vent P&ID (1CY J048103)


a. Pressure guages to be provided in steam inlet line to Ejectors
b. By pass line with valve is to be deleted for Drip Drain lines of all Heaters except LPH-1
3. Condensate P&ID (1CY J048102)
a. Two full range level transmitters to be provided for Deaerator
b. Two full range level transmitters to be provided for Condenser
c. Condenser level Very High/Very Low level switch should be chosen as resistance type
instead of Float type
4. Feed Water P&ID (1CY J048100)
a. All Flow nozzles should have 3 sets of Impulse line tapping points complete with isolation
valves.
