English Festival a Showcase of Talents

Language can be really fun. Language with its content, form, meaning and
sound can be used in different ways in a culminating program for the English
Festival celebration.
The showcase of talents was facilitated by the English coordinators of
A.B.L.N.H.S and all the English teachers and students. An added performance
during the celebration was the musical band by the 6 th Infantry Kampilan Division
headed by SGT. Macasasa.
Of all celebrated fests, the English Festival is quite unusual because the
students compete using the language in a distinctive way. Participants presented
settings such as T.V. Broadcasting, Jazz Chant, Speech Choir, Interpretative dance
and Tongue twister.
The participants of Jazz chant rain are the Grade 9students. Speech choir
presentation of the seniors with the prevailing combination of different voices was
performed.
The enrichment activities in the celebration of the English month developed
the students abilities through numerous competitions providing opportunities for
them to improve their manners of articulation and pronunciation that will strengthen
their oral skills.
