II.Experimental Procedure
- Brief, concise list or outline of the steps followed
- 5-10 bulleted points, not a reprint of the instructions, but a general summary of the steps
III. Data
- Includes specific measurements with units (in table form)
- Lists observations of reactions (in table form)
- Tables should be typed and include lines
IV. Results
For repetitive calculations in a lab:
- A sample of each calculation type including complete set-up
- Calculation results summarized in a table
For standard lab questions:
- Lab specific problems with complete set-up
Graphs
- Include axis labels, title. Appropriate size (1/2 page) and be computer generated or on
graph paper
V. Questions
- Answer specific lab questions with thorough discussion and justification
- Complete sentence answers with a restating of the question in the answer
VI. Conclusion
- In paragraph form with complete, thorough answers
- A lengthy discussion of the error in the lab. Not only the source of error, but how that error
would affect the data in the lab.
Note: Every lab is different, so some parts of the lab may be omitted as it applies to a particular lab.
