It's not too late to sign up for the Honors Residential
College's First Annual Valentines Day Party and Lec-
ture on Tuesday, February 14 (when else?) at
7:30pm in the Great Hall. As faculty-in-residence,
Sue and I are delighted to be co-sponsoring this
event along with the Community Council.

We're combining an academic lecture by Professor


Brian Dean (Computer Science) -- on "The (Algo)
Rithms of Love: Computer Modeling of Stable Rela-
tionships and How I Proposed to My Wife" -- with a
traditional Valentine's Day dinner party, complete
with live jazz music. It should be a great evening,
and the beginning of an annual tradition.

Core C & D residents can take advantage of priority


registration until 4:30pm today (February 7), then
it's open to all members of the Honors College. But
hurry -- it's first come, first served, and seats are
going fast. You can register for yourself, or for your-
