IQ and EQ Key Differences

IQ measures a person's intelligence and ability for logical reasoning, as represented by a score on an intelligence test compared to others the same age. EQ measures emotional intelligence as the ability to understand and manage one's own emotions and recognize emotions in others, as represented by a score on an emotional intelligence test. While IQ ensures success in school, EQ ensures success in life and careers. IQ is an inborn ability whereas EQ is learned and can be improved. People with high EQ tend to make better leaders due to their social and emotional skills.
