SAP PP - Production Environment

In the real business, the user need to have this transaction for Creating new bins in
massive way. Up to now, it is job of the IT and then release the change request to
production. Is the generation of the new bins in production system possible? Can it
be open for a short term to create the new bins?

Answer:

Use the transaction LS05 once you have created a sequence number in LS10.

Direct creation in the production environment can be done as per described in OSS
note no. 523213.

Summary:

Maintaining the maintenance views for Customizing tables in the production system.

Steps:

Transaction SE54

-> Enter above-mentioned views (which is V_T343)

--> click "Generated Objects" radio button

---> Create/Change

-----> Environment

------> Maintenance Objects

-------> Change (this will call Transaction SOBJ)

The 'Current settings' indicator must be set for the corresponding maintenance view.
This setting causes that the maintenance views are changeable in the production
system.

It must be noted that transports are also created for the maintenance views set to
changeable in the test system, from which you usually transport.

If you do not want this, these must not be transported to the production system. Thus,
change the 'Transport' indicator from 'automatic transport' to 'no transport' in this case.

Note:- You need the Basis Administration authorization to do this for the first time.
