1) Mechanical checks and visual inspections of the AL-BAHA 20MVA Mobile SS substation found no physical damage or defects to surge arrestors. Nameplate and connection checks were satisfactory. 2) Insulation resistance tests applying 5kV found phase to ground readings from 449-477 GΩ and phase to phase readings from 1.03-1.08 TΩ, within acceptable limits. 3) Inspection and testing was performed and documented by engineers Afaq Ahmad and Mohd Abdul Fattah of ABB and SEC respectively.
