On Our Way To The Community Walk

2BC members met with the barangay captain to discuss community issues and planned a walk around the neighborhood to observe conditions and people, dividing tasks and clarifying roles in advance so the event would go smoothly. After interviewing the captain and walking the area to assess needs, the group evaluated their actions and accomplishments from the successful community assessment walk.

As a group we braved our fears and walked around the environment with a purpose
of making Brgy. Teachers Village a better community. We discussed everything
before the walk so that everything will go smoothly. Planning everything helped us
formulate a clear cut and specific questions and signs to look for in the community.

After the interview we walked some more to get a feel of the people around the
community. We also looked at how true were the statements of the barangay
people. We also observed the people this consists of their age group, if they are
employed or unemployed, what does the people do to contribute to the current
programs of the barangay.
