MEDICAL CAMP 2017

SPONSORSHIP PROPOSAL
Engineering Indian Cultural Club is a registered club in the Engineering Campus of Universiti Sains
Malaysia, which is located in Nibong Tebal, Pulau Pinang. The club has been in existence since the
origin of the campus, which earlier known by the name Kesatuan Kebudayaan India. The mission of the
club is to help the Indian community around Nibong Tebal and Parit Buntar. One of our contribution to
the community in the past years include charity night for homes and organisations, which was known as
Deepam. We have also organised awareness program about child cancer and community programs
such as Medical Camp, Ponggal Celebration and free tuition classes for Tamil school students. This
academic year 2016/2017, we are proudly organising Medical Camp once again.
We are organising this medical camp to create health awareness among Nibong Tebal and Parit Buntar
community. Previously, it was only organised for the Indian community. This medical camp is to set out to
inculcate a sense of realisation towards the importance of health. Activities planned to be carried out on
that day are :

-Basic medical check up done by USM students from the School of Pharmacy

-Eye check up for the needies

-Health themed colouring contest for children and teenagers

-Organ donation registration

-Blood donation done by local government hospitals

-Talks about health by the Department of Information

Platinum RM 700
Gold RM 500
Silver RM 300

Each level of sponsorship will entitle you to a collection of promotional and advertising opportunities
available through Medical Camp 2017. We also welcome any form of in kind sponsorship such as free
drinks, giveaways, free door gifts and etc. There is no lower or upper limit being implemented on monetary
or in kind sponsorship.
