Difference Between Static Relays and Electromagnetic Relays

Static relays have several advantages over electromagnetic relays: they consume very little power, have no moving parts so they are not subject to arcing or contact replacement, and their operation is not affected by gravity, position, vibrations, or temperature changes. However, static relays require an external power supply, are more expensive, and have less accuracy and speed than electromagnetic relays.
