Set the Category field to Template

Setup Recurring Journal Code

Path: Parameters / Financials / General / Recurring Journal Entry

Header tab, followed by Generation tab.

Define the Template Journal that you created in step 1.

Start and End Dates
Frequency of the recurring journal

Generate the Recurring Journal Entries

Path: Financials / Frequent Processes / Recurring Journal Entry / Recurring Journal Generation

Define the Recurring Journal Code you defined in step 2

Define the Until Date (Example: If you do a recurring journal once a month, set the Until date to be
the last day of the fiscal period (month))
Generation Type: Actual
Click OK
