The document summarizes the writer's last day of their teaching practicum. It notes that the writer arrived early and was the only one in the classroom initially. When students arrived, they hugged the writer and asked why they had not been there for a week, which was an emotional experience. The writer helped the cooperating teacher by checking papers, escorting students between classes, and assisting weaker students. The reflection notes that checking student understanding is important, as students may learn in different ways, and leaving them alone does not ensure they understand - something the writer learned from their children's literature class.
