IDEOGENESIS

This document outlines Ideogenesis' schema for knowledge acquisition and the intellective process. It shows that knowledge begins with the 5 external senses collecting individuating notes about objects. The 4 internal senses - common sense, memory, imagination, and vis estimativa - then further process this sensitive knowledge. The intellect then operates on the sensitive knowledge through either active or passive intellection to arrive at ideas or concepts, the terminus of intellective knowledge. For an idea to be true, it must conform to the object originally perceived by the senses.
