Onthe Details tabpage,youhavethefollowingoptionsforthesettings:

automaticallydisplaysonlythosesettingsthatareappropriateandavailable.

VariableRepresents
Youchoosethedisplayareathatthevariableistorepresent.
SingleValue
Thevariablerepresentsonevalueonly.
MultipleSingleValues
Thevariablerepresentsanumberofsinglevalues.Thissettingisusefulinhierarchynodes,for
example,toallowyoutoentermultiplesinglenodes.
Interval
Thevariablerepresentsaspecificfromvalueandaspecifictovalue,thusaninterval.
SelectionOption
Thevariablerepresentsanycombinationofsinglevaluesandintervals.Inaddition,whenyouselect
valuesforvariables,youcanuseoperators(>,<,=,andsoon),usethecontainspatternoption(for
example,searchforallvaluesthatbeginwithA:A*)andexcludecertainvalues(byspecifyingthe
valuesforwhichyoudonotwanttosearch).

Notethatyoucanonlyusetheselectionoptionvariableswiththe ContainsPattern option

inthefilter(leftareainthe Filter screenarea)youcannotusetheminthedefaultvalues
(rightareainthe Filter screenarea).
Furthermore,the ContainsPattern optionisonlysupportedforcharacteristicsoftype
CHAR.Theoptionisnotsupportedfornumericcharacteristics.

CopyPersonalizationDatafromThisVariable
Userscanpersonalizevariablevaluesforinputreadyvariables.Thepersonalizedvaluesaresavedfor
eachvariableandeachuser.
