TITLE OF FILM

As a group we all thought Exitus alongside the

public vote would be the best title for our horror
thriller. We believed this paired well with the codes
and conventions as it is a short title that is
memorable like other well-known thrillers such as
Insidious, Ouji and Cape Fear. All these titles fitting

to give it a sinister tone, carrying the audiences expectation. It also reinforces the narrative
of our thriller as the audience is visually presented with our main character of the little girl
appear lost and running away from an unknown character.

TITLE FONT AND

The title font and style are simple but effective and

as clear as possible for the audience. This is
positioned towards the bottom of the shots so it

within the making of our thriller. This paired with the
soundtrack chosen to provide the opening scene with
an eerie and unsettling persona, giving the audience
a sense of what to expect and foreshadowing their
expectations, making sure it corresponded with the

SETTING AND LOCATION

For our location we chose a wooden area as this is

CAMERA WORK AND
We tried to use as many as different camera shots as possible
to enhance the viewing experience by the audience. Ranging
of shots from wide shots to extreme close ups, this enhances
the experience and adds depth. The use of particular shots
pushes the audience focus on particular shots of interest. The
use of extreme close ups were used to extenuate the features
of our main character of the little girl to expose the physical
and mental state she is in and the demonic oddity of our
thriller. Wide shots were important within the making of our
thriller as the audience followed her making it clear that she
was escaping from something or someone. The use of the
wide shot also allowed to show the detachment from reality
and seclusiveness of her surroundings. We used the cross
cutting technique to suggest the passing of time and to avoid
lengthy shots that could possible bore the audience.
Furthermore using rapid editing when the girl is laying on the
floor itching alongside uncontrollable movements to appear in
an infernal state, this paired with an high angled shot so show

The main character of the little girl does not possess a
