CX-Designer Library Updates Installation Directions

TherearetwotypesofCXDesignerLibraryUpdates:BitmapLibraryUpdates,andLibraryTemplates
Update.TheBitmapLibraryUpdatesareincludedwithCXOneAutoUpdate,andhavebeenincludedin
thisfileforthosewhoonlywishtoupdatetheirgraphiclibraryandnotoverallsoftwarefunctionalityor
versionnumber.TheLibraryTemplatesUpdatefilesarenotincludedintheCXOneAutoUpdate,and
canonlybeinstalledusingtheincludedfiles.Bothprovideupdatedgraphicalitemsforquicker
implementationofattractiveuserscreens.However,installationisoptionalandwillnotaffect
performanceoroperationoftheNSSeriesOperatorInterfacePanel.

Bitmap Library Update


1) CloseallinstancesofCXDesigner

2) BrowsetothedownloadedfilesinthedirectoryCXDesigner_Lib_Update(wherethese
installationdirectionswerefound)

3) ExtractthefileBMP_Lib_Updates.zipdirectlyintothedirectoryC:\ProgramFiles\OMRON\CX
One\CXDesigner\intaparts\BMPfiles

4) TheBitmapLibraryUpdateiscomplete,andthenewCXDesignerBitmapLibraryitemscanbe
foundwhencreatinganewFunctionalObjectandselectingtheColor/Shape

1) CloseallinstancesofCXDesigner

2) BrowsetothedownloadedfilesinthedirectoryCXDesigner_Lib_Update(wherethese
installationdirectionswerefound)

3) ExtractthefileNSHMIlibrarytemplates.ziptoanylocation(thedefaultdirectoryissuggested)

4) LaunchtheexecutablefileInstall.batandfollowthedirectionsshown:

5) TheLibraryUpdateiscomplete,andthenewCXDesignerLibraryTemplateitemscanbefound
intheLibrarywindowforcompletescreendesigntemplates,categorizedbyNSSeriessize.
