Personal Statement
My name is Brandon Low and I am currently studying Music Business HNC at
Perth College UHI. I have an avid passion for the music industry and I aspire to be
a dedicated professional of the industry within in the next 10 years. In my spare
time I enjoy performing music and attending live music performances of many
genres of music, including classical and opera. I am a keen classical singer in
training and this allows me to me to take part in a variety of opportunities
including performing with the National Youth Choir of Scotland. At present I have
a small part time job within the catering industry, however through college I run
an independent record label along with some other members of the class. I am
also the recently appointed head of marketing with Fife Opera.

My hobbies include singing and acting. I was, until recently, a member of many
youth theatre groups throughout fife. Currently, I am training to be a classical
singer and I am also a member of the National Youth Choir of Scotland. As well as
being Fife Operas head of marketing, I am also an avid singing member.
Experience
I have experience, through college in many sectors of the music industry. This
including creating and adapting financial sheets and writing up to date music
related contracts. I have also gained adaptable knowledge in management
structures which would help me greatly when delegating and managing artists of
any genre.
The practical experience I have includes organising and hosting a live music
event and releasing an EP single onto all digital streaming platforms. The event
planning allowed me to gain experience in organising and safety procedures. All
of which are greatly beneficial to my understanding of management of many
forms. Releasing music online has also allowed me to understand the recording
process and the importance of market research when developing an artist.
