Text Structure:
Organization of text is clear, chronological and easy to predict. The illustrations directly support
and assist in interpreting the text. This making the text structure slightly complex in my anchor
text.
Language Features:
Conventionality, I would say it is slightly complex because it is literal, straightforward and easy
to understand. The vocabulary in this text is very complex as the language is sometimes
unfamiliar, very subject specific and overly academic. Sentence structure is also very complex
because there are a lot of transition words and complex sentences.
Meaning/Purpose:
There is only one level of meaning or theme in this text that is obvious quite early in the text
making the meaning and purpose slightly complex.
Knowledge Demands:
This text explores a single theme, the experiences portrayed are every day and common to most
readers. This text has no reference to other texts or cultural elements making this section slightly
complex.
