Youth Society &entrepreneur in Bangladesh

The document discusses youth and entrepreneurship in Bangladesh. It notes that in a seminar of 1000 participants, 7 out of 10 youths said their dream was to become an entrepreneur. As 65% of Bangladesh's 170 million population is youth, promoting entrepreneurship could help solve unemployment. However, there are challenges for youth entrepreneurs in Bangladesh, including a lack of spaces like Silicon Valley to share ideas, insufficient loans from institutions like Grameen Bank, banks' unwillingness to lend to youth without collateral, and lack of family support for entrepreneurial careers. The government is working to address these issues and encourage the youth to think of themselves as potential entrepreneurs and problem solvers for the country's unemployment.

YOUTH SOCIETY &ENTREPRENEUR IN BANGLADESH

One week ago,I got an opportunity to join a seminar where almost 80%participants are
youths. A speaker called the 10 participants among 1000 participants to say about their
dream. Interestingly 7 out of 10 tell their dream to be an entrepreneur, 1 out of 10 tell to be a
politician, another 2 out of 10 tell there are no dreams, but they want to get a good job. If I
take these 10 people as a sample I see that most of the youths of our country want to be an
entrepreneur. by the way, I want to share a statistics to all of you 65%of our population are
youth. Let me tell, I forgot to share to tell you about which country i am now discussing. I
am telling about my beautiful Country Bangladesh where 170 million people live in about
147630 sq/km. interestingly 65 % of the population are youth which i told earlier. Since we
are populous country we need a lot of entrepreneur to provide the job for a large number of
people. I think this is the good sign for Bangladesh, because youths want to be an
entrepreneur. We know the youths people are potential population, if we utilize their skills&
give the opportunity to them what they want to do in future which will ultimately bring good
result for Bangladesh.

I want to tell some problems in our country which will hamper the youths to be an
entrepreneur:

1. There is no any place like silicon bally in Bangladesh which will help the youths to share
&explore their ideas to the people
2. Even though Grameen Bank ,founded by novel winner prof. DR YOUNUS who really try
to give the loan to the youth entrepreneur but it is not much good compare to demand.

3. Bank sector is not very much interested to give loan to the youth people. If they youths
people come at banks to take loan, Bank told them you need to keep two granters& mortgage.
We know it is not possible to show the mortgage to the Bank on behalf of youths

4. Another problem is if anyone wants to think to start career as an entrepreneur, He/She did
not support from family. Parents want their Children as a job holder

Last but not the least, Bangladesh Govt is now trying to solve this problem .I want to say to
the youths people as a youth, first of all we have to keep in mind if we think ourselves as an
entrepreneur we have to change our mind .

First they ignore you, after certain time when you become successful they follow you

=-- Be entrepreneur

=- Be problem solver of an unemployment problem of our country
