Engage (warm up, review prior knowledge): time:
- I will show a video about the numbers from zero to twenty and let them
guess what is new number that we will learn today?

- I will give each student a number from 0 to 17 because that is the
number of the students in the class. Then, I will call the number of the
10 mins
students in order. For example, number zero with whom? Ahmed came
here; the next number is number one. Who has number one? Saeed
has it, come Saeed. After finishing ordering the students from zero
to seventeen. I will hold the first student who has number zero and
says zero repeat with me zero, and keeps going like that. I will say
the number from 0 to 16 and then stop. After that, I will let the
students go to their places.

- I will show flash cards that have written from number from 0 to 17 to let
them remember the numbers that they have taken before
Core (introduce and practice new concepts & procedures):
- I will give each group 4 eggs puzzle. Each egg has half with number of the spots
and the other side has the number. Students should match the two half together by
count the number of spots. Then , I will tell each student to tell me the number that
they got in the puzzle
- I will show a PowerPoint that has number 17 in the written form and like a number.
I will let the students count 17 balls, apples, and cars individually to let them
25 mins
practice counting the number and save the new number.
- I will give the students a worksheet that include the written form of the
number 17 and the real number and let the students color it.
- I will give the learners a worksheet that has box and space. In the bow I will
tell the students to draw 17 things in it and in the space I will tell them to
write a sentence about what they have drawn to check if the students
understand the lesson or not.
Close (wrap up, discussion, brief review activity or assessment):
- I will do the activity in the learner book page 138 and see if the
students understand the lesson or not. 10 mins
- I will do the activity in the activity book page 137
