Essay Reflection

In my English class, we were assigned a research paper on a


developing technology of our choice and how it affects society today. I chose
space exploration in the private sector, and explained the competition
dynamic between three different industrial approaches to the problem in a
well-researched, concise manner. Compared to essays from last year, my
writing overall has improved drastically this year since Ive started to take
more time and care with the way I write essays. This piece, earning an A, is
the highest percentage point grade on an essay I have received this
semester. Effective Written Communication is a 21st century skill defined
as communicating ones thoughts clearly and concisely in written form. I
believe I have accomplished this goal efficiently and successfully within this
essay, and improved greatly upon my past works. In the future, I will take
even more time to look over and revise my essays before submitting them.
