- The student observed a 6th grade math class taught by Mrs. McKenna at Blackhawk Middle School on April 27th.
- During the lesson on reading, writing and oral communication standards, the student noticed students learning in different ways like listening, reading the directions, or having their eyes closed.
- This showed the student that each child has a different learning method and allowing students to read or listen to directions accommodates different learning styles.
- The experience demonstrated how simple accommodations for visual and auditory learners can significantly impact student learning and achievement of goals.
