The Methods to Make a Map Contact With Surfer Application Program

1. First prepare the result data into Sheet1 that has been in the Surfer application and
arrangae the cordinate data (E and S) and density according to the picture in below.

2. Then save into format .bln


3. Open the Surfer application that has already installed on the computer and will be
appears the task bar like in the below picture

4. Next step are select the menu Grid, then choose Data and we are prompted to
open the data that has been we save into format .bln
5. Then the result will be appears like the picture in the below

6. Next step is to make the map of diversity or density in a certain area on cordinate data
are first select the menu Map then click on the menu Contpur Map..
7. Then will be appears the result like the picture in the below, there are a map that has
been make it.

8. To give a color in the contour map we do the double click on contour field to get
Contours properties menu like picture in below.
9. To give a color in all the map contour layer first we must do is click or give a sign
on the menu Fill Contours

10. To changes the color layer of the map controus is click the menu Layer and cursor
direction into Fill and click in there, then will be appears the task bar like in picture
below.
11. Then will be appears the task bar like the picture below, click and choose into the
color that you want it you can click into menu Foreground color

12. Then the task barr will be appears and set the color that you want by click Presets or
Color and will be appears a variety colors
13. And then there are many menu color that you want it, click the color that you want it
14. Then will be appears new color that you want it and click Ok.

15. Then click menu Presets to give a backgroud color on the map and choose color
that you want it
16. Then the menu fill will changes the color like the picture below and then click Ok.
17. Then in the menu layer will change all color that you want it and then click Apply
to give a color in contours map.

18. You can change the Label menu become all No on the menu layer and you can
set level of color on contours map by click into menu level.
19. The making of our contours map is done, the result will be like in the picture below

20. Then you can save that by click into menu bar File and select the save and the
result was saved by format picture grd file.
