Industrial Mechanic Foreman: US. NAVY - KBR

● Installataion, and performance on first-degree maintenance and overhauling on


Auxiliary Power Units 205 Hz, TF40-BRAVO Gas turbine Engines rated at 16,000 hp,
install and cleaned fuel control systems, removed and install, Gas turbine Engines
compressors, solenoid valves.
● Strong understanding of the adiabatic process in GTEs. Dynamic Balancing, Axial flow
turbines and shaft alignment.
● Performed generator swap rated at 1100, 750, 475, 150, Kva, in Iraq Camp Ramadi.
Remove and install alternators, fan belts, front and real seals, turbo charges, fuel
governors, thermostats, water pumps, radiators, AVRs and performed daily checks on 38
generators which provided power to DFAC, Commisary, Hospital, Camp Ramadi Prision,
MWR, Troops tent city and other facilities with a safety rating of zero violation.
● Worked under little supervision of mechanical and electrical Civilian Contrators Engineers,
using electrical schematics, drawings, blue prints and charts for Naval Assault vehicles (LCAC) On
board Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base. San Diego, Ca

Facility Manager: Assault Craft Unit 5 US. NAVY

● Conducted detailed stress analysis and thermal/structural modeling to provide mechanical


repair on gas turbine engines, hydraulic rotors and propelers.
● Over 7 years experience using AKTABS Microsoft Windows 6000 as vibration analysist
to US NAVY Hover Craft. Worth over $ 24,000,000.
● Monitored computerized logs and records keeping, develop test plan and test cases using
Microsoft word, Power point and excel program.
● Improved complex schedule and projects involving Gas Turbine maintenance, removal of
rotors, stators, propellers, gear boxes, APU’s, pneumatic instrumentation fuel and
hydraulic vanes saving over 300 hours of manpower with out compromising equipment
and personnel safety.
● Over 6 years experience and qualification teaching and managing stress vibration and
calibration analysis for proper Gas Turbine aliagment, maintenance and overhaul.
● Used load banks, borescope, depth mikes, megger, manometer, Volt meter, vernier
calipers, sand blaster.

Certified Hazardous Material Technician: US NAVY - KBR

● Developed and prepared budget analysis of $467,000 for equipment and tools needed on
a six-month deployment during the Afghan War, for Division “Delta” at Assault Craft
Unit 5 in Camp Pendleton, Ca. which was the first division to answer the call and
participate in the war against terror.
● Conducted emergency response for hazardous material. Transported and handled radio
active materials, oxygen bottles fuel/oil waste in accordance with RCRA, DOT, and
OSHA Regulations.
● Prepared safe crane operations on loading of GTE’s, Electric generators Pitch propellers,
rotor blades, Radioactive equipment and ammo on board US NAVY ships under OSHA,
DOT, and DOD regulations.
● In charge of logistics plans procedures and necessary policies to support the logistic areas
of supply to include transportation.
● Planned and managed safety training in Hazard communication, managing universal
waste, blood borne pathogens, Up keeping of MSDS, and spill clean up in accordance
with US NAVY/MARINE Corp Regulations.
