P.E. Update: Physical Fitness

In the upcoming month of March,
Room C7 students will begin to
Practice every week prepare for
our Physical Fitness Test in April.
We already attempted push-ups, curl-ups
and running a mile. But well push more, curl more,
and run a lot more in March. Not only we are
building up our bodies for the grueling test, we also
are learning to live a healthy life through eating right
and keeping active.

Lunar New Year Celebration

Our class celebrated Lunar New Year on February 5th
in the classroom. Mr. Pham gave us a brief history of
the Lunar New Year and showed a video about how
the New Year is celebrated in different Asian cultures.
He then handed out the Red Envelope with a special
Year of the Monkey money inside to wish us good
fortune through the New Year 2016. Afterwards, we
played a special Lunar New Year game using class
money. It was a lot of fun learning about Lunar New
Year and playing games in the classroom.
Valentine
Challenge
This years Valentines Day was a very fun occasion. Mr. Pham had us
make Valentine containers to hold cards, grams, and candies. This is also
a competition to see who can create the best looking container. The
results: Tristika, Savannah, Natalia, and Gissele received prizes for having
the best containers. No matter who won, we all had a blast making
containers and a wonderful Valentine day with candies and received a
lot of cards and grams. We also had a RoAch at the end of the day.
Special thanks to Ms. Sharyn for serving as our Valentine Judge.
Pictures of all the Valentine Containers are on our class website.
