The teacher will bring in square shaped papers and crayons, and use an online concept map to show examples of square objects. Students will then form their favorite animal using the square papers, coloring and decorating them. To assess learning, the teacher will ask the students questions about squares and have each student present their animal creation while observing their understanding and use of squares.
