NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF INFORMATION SYSTEM FLIGHT INTERNET (IFIS) AND


AERONAUTICAL INFORMATION DOCUMENTATION OF ECUADOR

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Ecuador offers to users the Internet Flight Information Service
(IFIS) through the website www.ais.aviacioncivil.gob.ec. It has as purpose the planning, preparation and
secure distribution of flight plans for domestic air operations.

In this system, It can see the NOTAM, METAR / SPECI, TAF, aeronautical information of airports,
aerodromes and runways of Ecuador, graphical presentation and statistical flight and the Integrated
Aeronautical Information Documentation on The Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP), AIP
Amendments (AMDT), AIP Supplements (SUP) and Aeronautical Information Circulars (AIC).

This system is mainly oriented to flight crews, DGAC aviation and flight operations technicians, for
facilitate the presentation of the flight plan, which will be automatically distributed to AIS Aerodrome
Offices for validation.

The Integrated Aeronautical Information Documentation contained on this system, not replaces to the
information of manual AIP Ecuador.

The IFIS system has the following modules:

Birds Collision
Pilot
o Flight Folder
Statistics
ARO / AIS
Meteorology
Administration

To access the IFIS system, you need to enter the Internet web address indicated by registered user,
filling the appropriate form.
