AWS Account Creation

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a cloud computing platform with a bunch of services. The most
popular of these services are Amazon EC2 (provides resizable compute capacity in the
cloud), Amazon EBS (provides block storage volumes for use with Amazon EC2 instances)
and Amazon S3 (provides service for storing and retrieving data, at any time, from anywhere on the
web).

The really great thing that new AWS customers are able to try all these services for free - AWS
introducing a free usage tier.

Here's an overview of the AWS Account Creation process:

Requirement to Create the AWS Account?


We need Debit/Credit Card
We need valid mobile number to get alerts
We need valid mail id to access your account with mail id as a super user.

Steps to Create the AWS Account

The following steps illustrate how you can easily setup AWS account:

a) Open Amazon Web Services site and select "Create an AWS Account" at the top right
corner of the page.
Login to:

b) Fill in the form with your email address and select "I am a new user" option

c) In the login credentials form type your name, email address and password once
more time and click Continue button.

d) Provide the Contact Information

e) Provide the Security check and Customer Agreement

f) Fill in the payment form with information from your credit card.

g) Enter the mobile number to get verification pin and click on call me now

h) Fill in the identity verification form. You will receive automation message on your
phone and you have to type in a PIN displayed in the web browser.

i) Verify the Identity

h) Understand and select the support plan

Note: Additionally Amazon support may call you to verify your credit card number, billing address and
personal information.

Confirmation message sent on your mail box will be final step of a registration process.

a) Now you can navigate to the manage account section and verify status of services.

b) Using menu from the top right corner you can navigate to the AWS Management Console
or check account status.

c) We can use home button to move from any screen to home.

d) Find the below account name, which we logged in.

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Free Tier is designed to enable you to get hands-on experience
with AWS Cloud Services. The AWS Free Tier includes services with a free tier available for 12
months following your AWS sign-up date, as well as additional service offers that do not
automatically expire at the end of your 12 month AWS Free Tier term.

After creating your AWS account you can use any of the products and services, listed below, for free
within certain usage limits.
