As President and owner of USK9 I have trained and assisted hundreds of dog teams throughout
the world to ensure they meet or surpass the industry principles set forth by the NNDDA, USPCA,
LETS, and the NPCA. I am internationally known for my rigorous standards and meticulous
training programs . The dogs I train perform with incomparable quality, reliability, endurance,
and accuracy.

Industry Innovations
A distinguished career as an innovative master trainer and instructor with more than 30 years
of experience in all aspects of canine training with a broad range of achievements including,
but not limited to:

Pioneered the certification of private sector detection canines through the Department of
Defense using ATF standards

Outstanding Achievement and Commendation US Army: Excellence in Canine Training and


Exceptional Support to the US Army.

Sole Contractor for US Army TACOM-ARDEC : Commission to train a highly specialized


canine for detection on a critical and sensitive project involving tank ammunition. The
canine, trained solely by me, was subjected to extensive qualification tests by the Quality
Engineering Directorate at the US Army armaments Research Development and Engineering
Center and calculated to have performed with a 99.5% accuracy rating. The accuracy
recorded exceeded all expectations.

1999: Entered into and Executed a 5 year Cooperative Research and Development
Agreement (CRADA) with Geo-Centers, Inc., a key Department of Defense contractor, to
further the development of canine technology in the area of explosive, biological, and
chemical detection for unique military applications. The proprietary training techniques
that I have developed for training canines are now being documented as a trade secret.

Organizations Founded


Canine Standards International, Inc. (CSI, Inc.), an organization developed to promote,
achieve and maintain the highest level of competence among public service canine handlers
by encouraging standards for certification of canines, handlers and trainers through formal
canine handling education and advanced seminars compliant with ethical standards.
(March 2004)

International Police Service Canine Association (IPSCA), an organization that sets the
education and ethical standards for the certification of canines, handlers, and trainers.
IPSCA specifications are the highest in the United States. I served as the Vice President of
IPSCA and as an instructor at a number of trials conducted in the US annually. My expertise
and high values are well known in the Police Service Canine Community. (1995)
