Structural steel specs:

Steel materials shall conform to the following minimum requirements unless otherwise noted on
the contract documents:

Rolled shapes, channels and angels: according to EN 10025 with minimum grade S275JR.
Hollow structural sections (circular or rectangular or square sections): cold formed sections
according to EN 10210 with minimum grade S235JR.
Hot rolled plates (for flanges and base plates): according to EN 10025 with minimum grade
S235JR.
Bolts and Anchor bolts: full threated bolts with minimum grade 8.8 according to ISO 898-1.
all welding should be on shop fillet welding with size 5 mm unless if not mentioned using welding
wire according to ER 70 S - 6
splices shall be allowed only at locations specifically indicated on the Structural drawings unless
