Lesson idea implementation:

The teacher will introduce the class to different colors prior to this assignment. The students will already be
familiar on how to work Inspiration 9. They will choose three colors they would want to put on their diagram
and find three pictures of each color. With the teachers help, the students will then find fun facts and notes to
put in their outline. They will then find a website that supports one of their pictures. The project will take over
a week. The students will go in steps by researching items for their colors and picking the best item for their
diagram.
After diagrams are complete, they will be able to present their diagram on the smart board and read their
notes to the class. They will also have a chance to show their classmates the website they chose for their
diagram. Students will then take the favorite part of the diagram and the teacher will make one big diagram
that collaborates the whole class.

Optional extension: The teacher will post their diagrams on the classroom blog so that parents can view their
work.
