Reports:
The motion was made to dispense with the minutes from the previous meeting. Motion was
seconded and carried.
Kathy DeMay reported that there was $8,927.61 as of August 31. In the youth account there is
$4,066.89. Motion was made to accept the treasurers report. Walt Jones seconded. Motion
carried.
National: There is a new Youth Coordinator and the financials are better.
We have a new Ambassador, Kaylah Gulley. We are going to pick the Ambassador at the State
Fair so they have time to be an Ambassador before the National Convention.
The youth got over $2000 from donations this year.
The Charlene Main Scholarship had 3 winners this year! Robin Smithling, Michala Kuhlman and
Kaylah Gulley.
We will be giving $50 to each youth that sends in a professional picture for the Bellringer
contest. All entries get sent to Katie Hill.
We are trying to get a list of sponsors for the National Convention. If you have any ideas please
send them to Todd Hyman.

85 head of cattle sold to 14 different states with a final average of $2386. The sale topper at
$7,750 was Top Acres HP B Winsome ET, a big Bonanza bred heifer from The World of
Whizzbang and consigned by Top Acres and Hillpoint Partners, OH and WI. Her dam, Wizard,
was recently the Total Performance Winner and Hon. Mention Grand Champion at the
International Show as well as a member of the winning produce of dam for the fourth
consecutive year. Jason Meier, Ridott, IL purchased this well-bred individual.
Next in line on the high sellers list at $7400 was Cutting Edge L Pleasure ET, a fancy VG Legacy
three year old from the All American Crows Nest Colby Prada 2E92. The buyers of Pleasure
were the breeders of her dam which they sold in the 2011 Maryland National Sale, Jimmy and
Ginny Franks & Ryan and Whitney Keith of Waynesboro, GA. Ken Main and Peter Vail were the
consignors.
