Lesson idea implementation:

For this lesson the teacher will be handling the technology because as Kindergarteners their typing and
writing skills are not well developed, especially since this lesson would be early in the year. I would introduce
the lesson by explaining the standard and that we will be learning about national symbols throughout the
school year. We will then take the quiz together and I will record their general answers into the Google Form.

Because this is an assessment for prior knowledge there isnt any differentiation. Also, due to it being a group
assessment, there are no grades and hence less pressure. I would conclude the lesson by diving right into a
discussion about one of the symbols that they didnt know anything about (likely one of the monuments), but
that would be a separate lesson.
