Insulin Is Released From The Beta Cells in Your Pancreas in Response To Rising Glucose in Your

The pancreas is an organ located behind the stomach that secretes enzymes into the small intestine to further break down food and produces the hormone insulin which regulates blood glucose levels. Insulin is released from the pancreas in response to rising blood glucose after eating to control blood sugar levels, and damage to the pancreas can lead to problems producing insulin and glucagon, resulting in increased blood sugar and risk of developing diabetes.

Enzymes, or digestive juices, are secreted by thepancreas into the small intestine.

There, it
continues breaking down food that has left the stomach. Thepancreas also produces the
hormone insulin and secretes it into the bloodstream, where it regulates the body's glucose or
sugar level.

The pancreas is an organ located behind the lower part of the stomach, in front of the spine
and plays an important part in diabetes. The pancreas is the organ which produces insulin, one
the main hormones that helps to regulate blood glucose levels.

Insulin is released from the beta cells in your pancreas in response to rising glucose in your
bloodstream. After you eat a meal, any carbohydrates you've eaten are broken down into
glucose and passed into the bloodstream. The pancreas detects this rise in blood glucose and
starts to secrete insulin.

Pancreatitis damages the cells that produce insulin and glucagon, which are the hormones that
control the amount of sugar in your blood. This can lead to an increase in blood sugar levels.
About 45 percent of people with chronic pancreatitiswill get diabetes
