Thermal Growth Estimates - Reciprocating Compressors


Thermal growth estimates for the compressor centerline height are now uniformly based on
6.5 x 10-6/F (11.7 x 10-6/C) and a typical differential temperature of 100F (55.6C), see table
below. Calculate thermal growth for significantly greater differential temperatures.
