Portal Analysis

This document discusses the portal analysis of seismic loads on a two-way slab structure. It provides frame layout details and tabulates the calculated column forces, moments, axial forces as well as beam forces and moments for three frames (GL A-F/1, GL A-F/2, and GL A-F/3) using the portal method. The analysis assumes lateral loads determined previously from seismic analysis. Forces are calculated based on assumptions about load distribution between interior and exterior columns.
