The game was published and developed internally by Bandai Namco Games, itwas released in Japan on March 17, 2016 (about a year after Cyber Sleuth’s Japanese release). intend io cover everything this game has to ofr, but the guide in its current form s sill incomplete, so please bear with me. Although this game is a Role-Playing game, itleans more toward a virtual pt (Digimon) trainer type of game. This makes the game vastly diferent than the previous Digimon Story entry. inthis one, you cant own more than two Digimon at any point and there is no way to slore your Digimn either. Every second in realtime is worth one in-game minute, soa whole day inthis game lasts 24 minutes in real tme. Thatis, ifyou dont pause the clock with menus and other stuf. Walkthrough Prologue Firstthing you have to do when you starta new game isto select one ofthe two playable characters, the male character "Takuto” (7 byorthe female character "Shiki" (27+). To efficiently gain high amounts of Order Power, you need to hitO" after your Digimon lands a hit on the enemy, of after your Digimon is hit the enemy. Otherwise, youll most likely get 5 OP ifyou randomly press the button, Once WarGreymon has 150 OP, use his Gaia Force (114 7" 7 +— A) special move (the bottomeft move that costs 150), Finally, you will be asked to perform an Extra Cross Evolution (EXE). To do so, both of your partners need to have 150 OP, You don't have ta gain anymore OP this time, both your Digimon will have over 200 OP when this part ofthe tutorial begins, So all you have to do is hit 4 R shoulder buttons atthe same time, then choose the ExE command atthe botom ofthe Order Ring. After some scenes, the tutorial will end. ‘Ater the tutorial battle is over, ou will be asked to choose your two partner Digimon from ten digieggs. The first egg will be your right" side partner, while the second one will be your lef" side parter. This will be the end ofthe prologue. You need to be playing on a Japanese account io use the DLC for the Japanese version. Ityou attemptto leave Jijimon’s House (or just talk to Tokomon), Tokomon will stop you and askif you want to take his tour ofthe town, ‘The firs option agrees to the tour, while the second option declines it. you take the tour, Tokomon will take you to the Meat Farm (19) and explains how you can obtain fee meat there dally. For this rst time, you will et ten [Meat (P§)] from Tanemon when you talk to him. Butafer that, you will only get five everyday. This is where you can ain your Digiman te increase certain slats from your choosing, you willbe spending a lot of ime here to meet evolution stat requirements for your two Digimon. There's, another Toilet on the left side here, so you don need to leave the building if your Digimon need to use the toilet. you attempt to leave row, Tokomon will suggest you should evolve your Digimon to at least Child level before exiting the place, A single training session advances the in-game time by one hour, Baby I don't need any stats o evolve, they will do itafter about three in-game hours. But Baby Il Digimon need stats to evolve into their Child form, check the evolution tables atthe Digimon Encyclopedia section to see which stats you need for which form. recommend ‘raining your Digimon until you evolve them twice (Child level), you will need them in that form to survive outside of Fronter. You shoulé be able to easily evolve both partners into Child within nine in-game hours, so train them a few times and restingfeeding them when required. Talking to Gighmon (¥¥E on the bottom-right comer ofthe room wil allow you to rest your Digimon for one in-game hour (this is diferent than sleeping) ‘Atany time during the game, you can press the square button to open up "Care Modi ¢ From time to time, your Digimon might refuse to eat food or anticipate some praise after battle. You will get some more tutorials explaining the harvesting points in the fel, just goto the ones they showed you and press "0" to harvest metal type materials and pick up the Digishroom (77 7).Youwill then be thrown into battle with a Goburimon, the game will ll you thatitems can be used with the Triangle button during battle, After this battle, you wil be free to explore the area. Recruiting Tentomon: First thing you need to dois recruit Tentomon (+ bE’), He's located southeast side ofthe river atthe center of the map, Tentomon will tempt to sell you @ Heal Disk (SI(¥ 4 2 )item for 100 Bit, he willbe recruited to town ityou buy itfrom him at that rice, However, you can haggle Tentomon to buy the Heal Disk for 60 Bit only, doing this wont recrult him but you can repeat the process as many times as you want. He will open up an item shop back in Frontier once recruited, which sells the Heal Disk for 100 Bit ‘To bargain Tentomon for 60 Bit Heal Disk, frst choose the top option “Im inf (@ >: ! , then pick the middle option “wait and see how it goes),"“(Hi-F4 52 2)" Now just choose the lesser Bit prices untl you get the 60 Bit choice. Idid this around 6-7 times, but Im not sure if there's a limitio how many Heal Disks you can buy from him. Once you're done cheating Tentomon, buy the Disk one mare time (for 100 Bit this ime) to recruit him, Recruiting Palmon: You need three items to have Palmon join Frontier: Nicco Apple (= 3 J =), Digishroom (727 #4), and Salty Fruit (2 = 7 S€%9), Tha Nikko Apple is a radilght red apple that can be found next to trees along the eastomn side ofthe Great Plains ip shwwr gamfans. camila 78770.diimon-world-next-orderifags!TBOG3%prrt= tsectin29 mat sansrote ‘GameFAQs: Digimon World Next Order (VITA) FAQMWalktroug by Draken70 and along the southern side up until where Palmon is at. The Sally Frultis a white cube-shaped fruit that can be found nextto the frst ‘tee on the right side when you're moving fom the town entrance to the place up the hill where Fugamon is at. Itcan also be found let of ‘the waterfall (next to a blue harvest point) onthe northside of the map. ‘The Digishroom is a grey looking mushroom that is found literally everywhere. But you can also find one when you go through the tunnel to reach Fugamon, after the tee where you can find the Salty Fruit Once you have all three items (you anly need ane of each), go talk to Palmon near the southwestern exit of the Great Plains and choose the third choice. Palmon helps Tanemon in town to produce more meat from the Meat Farm. ‘After recruling ether Tentomion or Palmon (or both, return back o town for a scene with Jiimon, Frontier ya-F47 ‘Atwor the scenes end, your next story objective isto goto the 2nd Power Plant (%4—58@F) in the Nearby Grasslands (F214 / ‘You can visittalkto Patamon, Tentomon or Palmon ifyou want, or do some taining. Remember to talk o Koromon and Tanemon ifa new day stars to got their dally fee items. Once youte ready to leave town, go tothe Great Plains (XP), then enter the southmost exit into the next map, the 2nd Power Plant (382785), 2nd Power Plant Ra Recruiting Kuwagamon: Go to te southeastern corner ofthis map, you will nd Kuwagamon there. Talk to him and choose the first option ifhe gives choices. He requests that you bring him a "Dig-Royal Jolly (7°27 —'7 Jb” —), we will gotta itina bit. Now go west Until you reach the yellow exclamation“! mark fora story scene, Once thats aver, return to the Great Plains (iF I) area. Great Plains RR Make your way to the northeast side ofthis map, pasthe tile (soit. ind vending machine, then enter the next area to be inthe Forest Path Forest Path Ro‘it, Recruiting Numemon: Go east for a bit to see Numemon on your right. Taiko it and accept his request, Numemon wants five Green Digishroom (=F!) 7°34), They/re found in this area next to trees, and justlike their name, they'e green so they blend in well with the background. You might want o zoom in with the right *R" shoulder button to see those mushrooms. Ifyou cant find more than five, you can leave the area and enter it again to make the mushrooms respawn. Once you have five Green Digishrooms, talk to Numemon to starta battle. Defeat him and he willbe recruited. Numemon gives you a single Portable Toilet (#F k “ L+) every in-game day, he is found near the tolletin the town's plaza, Recruiting Wormmon: Wormman is found in the same area you in (where Numemon isivas at), Bul Wormmon is near the east side of the area. When you talk to Wormmon, he asks you to bring a TreeTree's Branch ('” J ~"” Y —14%), which can be obtained froma rainbow colored harvest point next to a tree in this area (just go west until you see I). Once you have the event item, return to Wermmon and exchange the branch with the Fishing Red (24) ). In town, Wormmon wil tell you the favorite food type of your Digimon partners. You can fish by going near fishing spot and pressing the "O" button. There are two fshing sports in the Great Plsins map: on the bridge and the lake southwest ofthe bridge, When fshing, each successful attempt will advance the in-game time by ten minutes. you miss ‘your chance at hitting cicle when the "mark appears orjust dont get any his, ime will advance by five in-game minutes, ‘While still in the Forest Path map, look for a second rainbow colored harvest point o obtain the DigiReyal Jelly (7—'s1-¢')—) event item for Kuwagamon. You can retum to the 2nd Power Plantto recruit Kuwagamon, or wait until the story sends you there again (which will be very soon). Jjimon will sk you to bring Taomon to Fronter, so out next destination is Lonely Voleano (© 7 + ' #li). But here's a small detour to recruit two more Digimon from the Server Desert (‘~/<—Wil) area, Server Desert: Recruiting V-mon and Tegemon Yori Start from an early morning day so you can have enough time to finish the next couple of objectives in a single day. Exit Frontier and enter the Server Desert rom the southwestem gate (west of where Palmon was standing). Nolse Storm (/ 4X2 b—4): The Noise Storm map is usta circle wit three exits and a bunch of servers inthe middle. V-mon will be standing right there infront of you, 80 talk to him to hear him rant about Togemon. Once that’s over, go straight west and enter the next area in the Desert, the Server Cemetery (3¢—/<— Bi), Server Cemetery (if —/\— 38): Togemon is located near the southwestem camer ofthis map. Find him and speak with him, choose tho fist choice, then return to V-mon back in Noise Storm, Nolse Storm (/ 4 £2 + ~ 1): Pick the third choice when talking to V-mon to tigger a bate, it shouldnt be that ough as Vmon is just level 5. ter winning this bate, V-non will be recruited. He opens the Constuction Store (Sl) back in town, which can be used to Upgrade the facilities of Frontier. The town has to be expanded fst by recruiting around 15 residents. Now go back to Togemon in te Server Cemetery. Server Cemetery (1 —/<~ i): Speak with Togemon again, his ima choosing the secand option for another battle (he's level § as well). Win tis one to recrut Togeman as well. Tegemon will give you a free food item everyday from mornings until 15:89, you can find him inside the Training Center in that ime range. Now return to Noise Storm and enter the south gate, then go all the way south to reach the Voleano area. Lonely Volcano: Firewall By URE Ie Dm Once you'e at he Firewall map, progress by going all the way south until you see a Birdramon guarding a gate. Approach Birdramon for a scene, pick the second line out ofthe two choices to fight Birdramon. Once the battle is won, the scene will continue and Birdramon wil be recruited. He will be in charge ofthe Transfer Shop (8:2) in town, which is a service that teleports you to diferent locations around ‘the Digital World in exchange for some money. Gatoway (/— + 9 4): Make your way southeast untl you come to a bridge. Another Digimon is blocking the path, this ime its Meramon. Approach Meramon for a scene, then pick the first choice for another battle, Meramon wor'tjain the town ifyu beat him right here, buthe will come to town ater a few days instead. He will open a restaurant, Cross the bridge to find Kyublmon as a guard, approach the Digimon for a scene. After its over, you can talk o any of the three kKyubimons and choosing the second opton to start battle. The catch here is that the let Kyubimon tiggers a fight against one Kyubimon, while the other two wll have sl three versions against you. 'd go with either the center or right Kyubimon to fightall three for ‘more Tamer EXP and Bit (hey/e all level 6), You might wantto save frst and try the three Kyubimon batle fist. you cantwin it reload the game and talk io the left Kyubimon for an easier bate, Kyubimon will also join own after afew days have passed, twill open up a linc ‘Aterthe scenes end, cross the bridge Kyubimon was blocking then enter the nextmap. Talk to Taomon in this thy map fora scene. ‘Taomon will give you the key item legal Seed (|) —#/1'— K}), you need to plant this seed in the 2nd Power Plant (3! — 385) in the Nearby Grasslands (#24 / 4 Nearby Grasslands: Recruiting Plyomon & Kabuterimon FIAT RR This section is optional, bull recommend doing itsince it's on your way tothe story objective. Since you recruited Birdramon already, Piyomon’s dialogue will have an extra choice to pick. Speak with her then choose the third choice te have her join Frontier. She willbe alongside Birdramon and will reward you with items after using Birdramon's service more than a certain number of times. The frst cone is after ten uses. Recruiting Kabuterimon: Whila its not exacty on your way to the 2nd Power Plant, its really close to itso you might as wel get him. However, fyou stil have two Child Digimon partners, you might want fo skip this one until you get atleast wo Adultlevel partners. I'you do have Adult or above partners, enter the cave-like gate on the eastside ofthe Great Plains thatleads to the Old Cable Route (IE —7 2088) map. Its next to two harvesting points (viewed as gold stars on the map) and a shor distance norheast of he gate that leads to the 2nd Power Plant. nce inside the map, Kabuterimon can be found near the southwest side of fhe map. All you have todo is battle him and win to recruit him to town. He's pretty strong i you only have Child partners, hence why | recommended atleast Adult level Digimon (Ihad Perfect ‘when | challenged him). Kabuterimon plays an important part back in town, he will evel up the tools you use inside the Training Centor to tain your Digimon parters. They need to have a full EXP bar to level them up, and you have to pay Kabuteriman a hey 10,000 Bit to goteach tool to level 2. ‘Altor you're dane recruiting Digimon, retun to the Great Plains map and enter the 2nd Power Plant the the southmost gato, 2nd Power Plant (2nd visit) SRRRG ‘As soon as you enter the map, head southwest o see the next story objective (the yellow" mark). Before planting the seed here, make sure to note down the current in-game time because you need to walt for 24 in-game hours and come back to this location. Hyou didnt retum to Kuwagamon to give him the Dig-Royal Jelly we obtained e: Kuwagamon atthe southeast comer ofthis map. Once recruited, Kuwagamon will give you a free food item everyday from 16:00 to you can de so now to recruit him. You can find midnight inside the Training Center. ‘Aller 24 in-game hours have passed, you need fo approach the seed you planted (itwill have the yellow "" mark) fora scene. After that, retrace the steps you took to reach Taomon's Meditation Spot (+ 2 2844} in the Lonely Volcano ares to see Taomon again. Lonely Voleano: Taomon's Meditation Spot yy seul a om ‘Speak with Taomon fora scene, he will hen join Frontier as an NPC thathelps progressing the story. Aer that's over with, you need to expand the Frontier town nextto progress the story futher. In order todo that, you need around 15 or more recruited residents. I you {followed this walkthough up to this point you should have 12 recruited Digimon in total. You can sill recruit about ix more Digimon before doing the next story objective (once it unlocks, thats), two of which are Kyubimon and Meramon, who will oin up automatically a fow days after Taomon is recruited. This leaves four more Digimon available for recruitmnt at this time. Recruiting Greyman and Garudamon Use Birdramon’s Transfer Shop (Rif) to be taken straightto the Server Desert (3°—/<—zbi8) area, Groymon will bo in the first map of Server Desert, Noise Storm (/ 4 %X + — 4).
