Rationale for Curriculum Use: This app is presented in a structured lesson form where
the students can work throughout 7-10min lessons in multiple languages as an additional
resource to practice their reading.

Rationale for Curriculum Use: This app is designed to allow students to creatively
learn and practice their math skills. This app is appropriate for all ages and can continue
with the student while they go from grade to grade. Beginning with simple
addition/subtraction for kindergarten all the way up to Grade 8 skills.

Rationale : Story Patch is designed to bring the students stories to life. This application
allows the student to create their own picture book adding in images, text, and fun
characters. It includes a wide variety of illustrations and customizable characters to really
create the students story. Story Patch allows the students to easy practice their story
telling skills and creativity with plenty of independency, as a results furthering their
creative mind.

App Title: First Then Visual Schedule
Rationale: This app, however $13.99, is a great tool for students with disabilities. It
allows the student to independently or with help to design a First Then schedule in
the classroom. It includes a schedule with pictures and all customizeable. It is a great
visualization tool and easy to access/create for the student.

Rationale: This app, followed along with an app for each grade, allows the students to
work through grade appropriate math work. This is a perfect tool for additional help and
extra practice. It could be done during spare time or if the student has completed their
work early. It is also a great tool for differentiating learning.

Rationale: For Grade 2, the students can use this app to play activities that
correlate with the curriculum standards in each subject. It has math, reading,
spelling, and science. There are in-app purchases but it is a great start, escpecially if
students are using it during afternoon inquiry time.
