About The Internship Training:

An internship is a pre-professional experience whereby individuals get the required

experience to get hired in a career field of interest. By completing an internship students will
develop the knowledge and skills employers seek in this competitive job market. Although
courses taken in college can help prepare for a future career in a specific field, it is the
experiential component that actually provides the skills necessary to enter a field and be
successful. An internship for an art student seeking experience in a museum will look very
differently that the internship that an environmental studies student might do to help improve the
water quality in a local community. Just like jobs, internships come in all shapes and sizes and
there is no limit to the types of internships available since they can be anything that suites ones
imagination.

SCOPE OF THE STUDY

India has thousands of major Spinning mills. There are two major spinning sectors
Handloom Sector and Mechanized Sector. Because of their rapid growth potential and increased
production, a number of job opportunities have emerged for those specialized in this area.

There is a constant need for better quality production procedures in mechanized sector.
Hence, companies prefer hiring candidates specialized in this domain. It is one of the most
demanded careers as there is always a need of better fire resistant materials, material for medical
use and weather resistant packaging materials etc.

Candidates with a degree in Spinning millss Engineering can get involved in textile
chemistry that is responsible for coming up with different types of fabrics with specific
properties. Apart from this, a textile engineer also works in quality department to monitor the
production processes to ensure the produced product is of superior quality. In a nutshell, the
scope and growth in this field is immense.
LIMITATION OF THE STUDY

Only The naturally colored cotton has a small fiber and is not suitable for heavy machine
spinning.

During World War II an insufficient supply of dye led to the cultivation of green and brown
cotton in the Soviet Union.

The US government also showed interest in cultivation of naturally colored cotton but later
aborted the project due to low yield and short staple length.

Later on US government instructed a famous agronomist, J.O.Ware, to study the Soviet

cotton plants to determine whether they were commercially viable in the U.S. Ware and his
colleagues concluded that the green and brown cotton plants yielded too little lint that was
too short in staple length. Colored cotton was officially regulated to obscurity. In a few
places where people still entranced by its possibilities.

Due to smaller fiber, it becomes unpractical to use naturally colored cotton for clothing
manufacturers. But now, colored cotton is literally squeezed in with the conventional white
cotton to make its fiber longer and stronger than other naturally colored cotton to be used in
typical looms.

Since this hybrid cotton fiber is stronger, it is being used by Levis, L.L. Bean, Eileen Fisher,
and Fieldcrest for clothes like khakis.
NEED OF THE STUDY:

This report has been prepared through extensive discussion with company

preparing the report. At the time of preparing the report, I had a great opportunity to
have an in depth knowledge of all the investment activities practiced by the Alliance
Capital.
