Tests/Projects
Homework
Homework is assigned EVERY DAY. Homework is checked daily, and turned in on
Fridays. Homework is worth 10 points daily. (I pick ten random problems to grade.)
Take home projects and tests will be given a due date the day it is assigned.
Notebooks will be checked on the day of a test.

Late work
Late work loses 10% per assignment per day it is late. (1 Point on daily work)
Late work must have a missing assignment log attached.

Absent?
Information will be posted on the back board. Assignments will be placed in the
work bins. The day you missed if the number folder you look in. Notes that are
missed need to be made up.

Tests
If you miss a test, you have one week to make up the test from the day you get back.
If you want to retake a test, you need to fill out the test retake form. You lose 10%
possible for every retake you do.

In Class Work
There will be a warm-up every day on the board. Your notebook is graded in this
category. You will also be given a weekly or daily grade(depending on week.) Daily
this is 5 points. Absences will follow the student handbook. Behavior, Phone use,
tardiness, and respect are what is graded.

Electronics
As per the student handbook, I am not to see your phone. They are not allowed
in the classroom. They are to be put in the bins at the start of class, and they
will not be retrieved until the end of class. If I have to take it, I will keep it until
the end of the day. If I have to take it a second time, it will be in the office
waiting for you by the end of the day. If I see your phone you loss all in class
points for the day.

Office Hours
I want to help you! I will be here before and after school almost every day. If you are
stuck at home feel, free to send me an email. I will get back to you with an answer or
ask to meet up to go over the material more in-depth. I will respond as soon as
possible.

Passes
Unless it is a life or death emergency, you are only allowed to leave the classroom
during notes. Only one student is allowed to leave the classroom at a time. Any
student out of the classroom must have a pass.
Ketchup and Relish Days
These are days pick by me for a reward. (Normally they are once a month, depending
on what we are doing in class.) The students that have no missing work, are able to
watch a movie during class time. Those that have even one missing assignment must
complete the missing assignment before they can go in to the classroom. This
includes warm-ups and notes. Once all there work is caught-up, they may enjoy the
Relish with their classmates. ALL work must be completed before they can return to
the room.

Cut Off For Late Work

All late work not turned in by the end of a Ketchup and Relish day is marked a zero.
The only exception is an excused absence on the day of the event. (Unless otherwise
noted in the student handbook.)
