Colorado Roadways
Each year, Colorado is home to hundreds of special events
such as bicycle rides and races, concerts, ski events,
running events and more. Any event affecting roads
throughout the state must be approved and permitted by
the Colorado State Patrol (CSP), the Colorado Department
of Transportation (CDOT), and local municipality where the
event is held.

To assist special event organizers, the CSP and CDOT have Colorado Scenic
