I am writing on behalf of the SMJK Chio Mins Environmental Club.

We wish to complaint about


some anti-eco-friendly activities done by the school which are contributing to global warming.

2. We noticed that students always waste the paper. They only write on one side only. As a
result, they use more paper and books. Not only that, there is no recycling project done by the
school to make sure the unused paper are disposed correctly. The way the gardeners disposed the
rubbish are also not a good way. They just burn the rubbish. This is contributing to air pollution.

3. Our school canteen vendors still using the Styrofoam cups and plates. These Styrofoam is
hard to dispose and is bad for the environment. It is better if they use washable cups and plates.
They can save money too by doing this.

4. There are many trees in our school being cut down to make gazebo and enlarge the field
area. Cutting down the trees will contribute to global warming. Maybe we can do planting trees
activity among the students to greener our school compound.

5. We would appreciate if the school can take some actions and do some eco-friendly
activities. This will definitely help to save the environment and instil the value of loving the
environment among the school students and staffs.
