Data Voice Multplexer (FOX515)

I. Introduction/Purpose

This plan covers the detailed test and commissioning of the Data Voice Multiplexer
(FOX515).

This plan/procedures document developed in accordance with the steps indicated for
testing as outlined in the SEC-EOA Scope of Work and Technical Specifications for this
contract.

II. Factory Acceptance Test.

The Test will be witnessed by SEC-EOA approved Third Party Inspector appointed by
the Main Contractor.

The basis of this test will be approved Detailed Design/Manufacturing Clearance from
SEC-EOA /Main Contractor.

The equipment should be pre-tested locally by ABB before offering for FAT. The Local
test results recorded on the Manufacturers recommended Test formats will be presented
to the SEC-EOA/Third Party Inspector for verification.

The SEC-EOA/Third Party Inspector will verify/test 20% of the equipment offered for
inspection.

III. Test equipment required:

- Multimeter

- PCM Tester

- Bit Error Rate Meter(VePAL TX130E+)

As part of performing final testing and commissioning of each FOX 515, ABB will be
providing the following test equipment, as outlined in the table below:

IV. Test Configuration Drawings

Refer the Test Plan/Procedure for Test Configuration Drawings, showing the scheme /
configuration of the test equipment interconnections along with the unit(s), or link(s) under
test.
