Chess Rules PDF

The document summarizes the basic moves of each chess piece - the king, queen, rook, bishop, and knight. It also outlines the standard one space move for pawns and two special first move options. Additionally, it provides helpful context for each piece's movement, such as the king never moving into check and bishops staying on the same colored squares. The summary concludes with brief explanations of three special rules: pawn promotion when reaching the back row, en passant capture option for pawns, and castling by moving the king two spaces toward the rook.
