1. The document describes an experiment to determine the relationship between energy, work, and an inclined plane. Tools included an inclined plane, weights, pulleys, and a dynamometer. 2. Experiments were conducted with and without loads at various incline heights, and work values were calculated and recorded in a table. 3. Analysis showed that work increased with greater incline height and length. The mechanical advantage of the inclined plane depended on the height and length.

V. work steps

1. arrange the tools as in the picture. Combine 2 small pulley with coupling plug, then hang to
dynamometer. Write the weight which measured by the dynamometer on the table.
2. put the dynamometer to the holder of the incline, then put the pulley on the inclained plane.
Set the height of inclained plane (h) at the supporting beams with the height of inclained

3. pull the dynamometer which connected with the pulley to the top of inclained plane so the
pulley coincide with the statif bar. Realease the pulley from the end of dynamometer so the
pulley will slide until the base of the incline. (pulley a distance along L = length of the incline).
4. calculate the work did by force F with formula : W=FL. Calculate the result of the times
beteween the weight and the height of inclained plane
5. put the load at each of the plug to each pulley, then replay the experiment at the step
number 1 4. Write the result of the data from your experiment at the table.
6. replay the experiment step 1 5 to the high of inclained plane 20cm, 30cm, and 40cm. write
the data result from your experiment into table.
7. what is your conclusion

VI. Data result from experiment

Result tableof height measurements of the incline and force which work on things ( pulley and
load).
length of the incline (L) = 0.5 m.

4 40cm = 0.4 m 1.5 N 2J 0.4 N 2J

VII. analysis the data result from the experiment

1. at the inclained plane with height 10cm:
a. without load : W = 1 J
b. with load : W=3J
2. at the inclained plane with height 20cm:
a. without load : W = 4 J
b. with load : W = 13J
3. at the inclained plane with height 30cm:
a. without load : W = 2 J
b. with load : W = 28.5 J
4. at the inclained plane with height 40cm:
a. without load : W = 16 J
b. with load : W = 50 J

compare the value of W above with the value of work which posed by weight force ( wh ) on
the table. How is the result?
The more height of inclained plane, force which work on things more bigger so , the work which
done by pulley more bigger .
More work on incline also depend on how long the incline ( if the more friction forceis not same
equals to zero). More length of the inclained, the work which done more small

VIII. Conclusion
More work done at above inclained depend on the length of inclained plane and the height of
inclained plane.
