MSR 2011 053 060 Earthwork

This document provides rates for various earthwork activities in Manipur, India. It lists 18 items related to clearing, excavation, filling and banking of earth. Excavation and earthwork rates vary based on factors like soil type (loose, hard, rocky), depth of excavation, presence of vegetation and need for blasting. Deeper excavation and removal of hard rocks is priced higher. Rates also differentiate between work with and without use of heavy rollers for banking earth in embankments. Transportation of earth fill is accounted separately based on lead (carry distance) and lift (carry height).
