Lesson Reflection
I taught students a math lesson which is about number 6 and 7, it aims to students know
these two numbers and how to write them in a correct way. However, to link the lesson with
students levels, I created three activities in the learning centres based on their levels (high,
medium and low).
So, the aspect that I did it very well was giving the students an opportunity to write number 6
and 7 by themselves; then I wrote them on the white board in a correct way to students who
wrote them in a wrong way know their mistakes and correct them by their own. On the other
hand, the part that I did it which is required my attention was explaining the activities in the
circle area before students go to the learning centres to apply them because I explained the
activities with showing them the materials only without showing them the steps of the
activities.
Thus, in the future I will not repeat this mistake and I will take a step forward to facilitate the
learning for students by explaining the activities for the students in a supportive way. As a
result, the lesson met my teaching goals when students implemented the activities in a
correct way and showed me how they understand the exact lesson through participating
during the lesson.
