Newsletter My Environment wk2

Miss Chantal's newsletter provides an overview of the week's lessons. She explains that she tailors lessons to each student's ability level, with some students counting to 10 and others to higher numbers in math. The class will be learning about cities in science, identifying buildings, streets, and vehicles. In English, students will work on letters Gg through Mm, sight words, and filling in a sentence about seeing things in the city. Parents are asked to join the ClassDojo app for updates and to contact the teacher.

Miss Chantals Class

Newsletter
Date: Oct 29-Nov 2, 2017

Dear Parents

Not all students are on the same level. I cater the lesson to whatever level the student is on and
try to get them to the next level. Therefore, you will see for example in Math, that they must
count either 1-10 OR 1-20. For the students who cant count till 10 yet, I will practice with them till
they can go to 10, then 15, then 20. For students who can already count to 20, we will count
higher numbers. When you practice at home you will be able to see what level your child is at.
Just work with them till they complete the first goal, then well move on to the next one.
