guidelines and activities that focus on promoting and managing
health and safety at work.
Quality/Durability- provide design solution that are not only good
now but also good for the future in terms of durability and quality.
Obsolescence loss of value or usefulness usually over a period
of time because of wear, changing technology or user
performance.
RESEARCH
Research is the process of gathering information to gain knowledge.

Things that you can include in your research are:

materials that could be used

skills and techniques that could be used
products already available
information concerning marketing potential
safety aspects
costing

Use this page and the next to research ideas for your project. You can use a mixture
of words, pictures and samples.

se drawings and text.

List and describe three (3) parts of your project that worked well.

Parts of project that worked well Why?

1 Frame construction 1. Frame construction went well as we
planned out all the measurements and
glued everything together successfully and
we had a little extra help to hold the house
in place.

2. Furniture construction 2. We bought thin balsa wood for the

purpose of making furniture such as beds,
tables, cupboards etc. We use hot glue
and fabric to make everything look homey.

3. We worked collaboratively on ideas,

3. Team co-operation sizing and on colour options. It wasnt easy
and there were a few disputes here and
there but we worked through them.
